The service

Social Lab Connect Hub connects a merchant's business tools (including Google Calendar / Google Meet) to Social Lab so the merchant can send WhatsApp notifications to their own customers. The hub reads calendar events from the calendars you choose for that purpose only, and creates, reschedules or cancels calendar events (with a Google Meet link) on the merchant's behalf when the merchant or their Social Lab agent books an appointment for a customer.

Shopify

The Social Lab app for Shopify is free to install; any Social Lab subscription is billed by Social Lab directly, not through Shopify. The app reads store orders, customers and checkouts only to send order and abandoned-checkout notifications and customer updates through the merchant's own Social Lab (WhatsApp) workspace. Raw event payloads are kept at most 30 days; all shop data is deleted within 48 hours of uninstall and customer data on Shopify customer-redaction requests. Operator: Social Lab (Briefiction).

Your responsibilities

• You only connect accounts you are authorised to use.
• You have your customers' consent to message them on WhatsApp and follow WhatsApp and Social Lab policies.
• You keep your sign-in details secure.

Data

Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Raw events are kept for 30 days. You can disconnect any tool at any time from Connections; disconnecting Google revokes the hub's access token.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to deliver every event reliably with retries, but we are not liable for messages delayed or not delivered because of third-party outages or misconfiguration.
